Dr. Seuss

Our Summer with Dr. Seuss 2017

Beginning June 4, our summer Religious Education program will be introducing  the  Dr. Seuss curriculum to our children in K through the 5th grades.

Youth entering the middle grades and above are invited to attend the service with their families.

Why use the stories of Dr. Seuss in UU congregations? These stories are fun and engaging. But even more important, they are based on life situations and experiences and give us a way to reflect, and to talk about things that are part of our lives.

  • we all sleep,
  • we all get lost,
  • we all are afraid sometimes,
  • we all meet people who are on — and sometimes in — our way,
  • we all like adventure in various ways,
  • we all struggle with what is right and what is not.
