Covenant Groups are small groups (such as four to a dozen people) who explore Unitarian Universalist values.
- Small groups of congregants usually meet monthly to explore a specific theme each month
- A Covenant Group usually includes the same individuals for a year or so to deepen connections
- There are also opportunities for newcomers to join
- The meeting might include silent reflection, deep listening, and uninterrupted sharing from the heart on a specific theme
- This is a time to ponder questions of faith and meaning and to share life experiences
- Some Covenant Groups also put their UU faith into action by doing a service project together
- Covenant Groups strengthen ties among congregants and enrich congregational life
