Elaine Wright, Church Pianist

WrightElaine Wright is a life-long pianist, beginning lessons at age five. She fell in love with making music and has been involved in music as a piano soloist and member of various choirs throughout her life. She began accompanying in the seventh grade and collaborated as both an accompanist and a chamber musician throughout undergraduate and graduate school.

She earned both a Bachelor of Music in piano performance and a Masters in Music with a concentration in piano pedagogy. Her experience as an Adjunct Professor of Piano at Shenandoah University and Hood College increased her understanding of keyboard studies.

Additionally, she has continued private studies in piano throughout her life. This has deeply enriched her experience as a pianist. Elaine gives solo recitals as well as maintaining a private studio in which she teaches people of all ages.
