The most important skill a human being can have is knowing how to develop meaningful relationships with others. This is the central theme of a new book titled, “How to Know a Person – The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen” by David Brooks. He is a columnist for the NY Times, a writer for The Atlantic, and appears regularly on the PBS News Hour.
In this service, the members of Tree Lovers Covenant Group will be sharing their insights about “seeing people more clearly” gathered from Brooks’ book and from our own experiences. We will use music, poetry, and personal testimonies to explore ways in which we can all illuminate and deepen our personal interactions with one another.
