Rev. Henry Ticknor, Minister Emeritus

TicknorRev. Henry Ticknor served as the first called minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Shenandoah Valley from 2003 to 2010. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC and was ordained in 2003. In 2018 the UUCSV congregation voted to recognize his service by naming him Minister Emeritus.

Prior to entering the ministry, Rev. Ticknor spent 32 years in elementary and secondary education as a teacher, elementary and middle school principal, and central office administrator.

He lives in Winchester with his wife, Nancy. They have two adult daughters, two great sons-in-law and two adorable grandsons.
