“Facing Sacred Moments”

On Sunday April 7, Norma’s Gals, one of the longtime Covenant groups at the Unitarian
Universalist Church of the Shenandoah Valley will be presenting a service titled Facing
Sacred Moments. Each member of the group will share personal stories of events in
their lives that they felt were “Sacred Moments” –sacred as in “out-of-the ordinary,”
“awe-inspiring,” or momentous in some special way. Moments that gave them pause,
moments that gave them goosebumps, moments that took their breath away.
Memorable quotes about sacred moments and music that reflects this theme will also
be part of the service. Amy Fielder, a member of the covenant group, will share a
sacred moment on the violin.
